Alok Gupta is an Indian lawyer and consultant to Human Rights Watch.
He is the author of the highly cited academic paper, "Section 377 and the dignity of Indian homosexuals".
In November 2011, Alok was interviewed in Mumbai, India, by Envisioning Global LGBT Human Rights. The video, funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, was entitled, "Alok Gupta This Alien Legacy" and was uploaded to Vimeo in 2013[1].
