FORTY-EIGHT doctors and two dentists have been promoted to the rank of Senior Registrars in the Government Health Service on April 1.

One doctor was promoted from Medical Officer to Registrar.

A Health Ministry Press statement released yesterday listed out the names and specialities of the doctors and dentists.

Among those promoted was Dr (Miss) Lee Wei Ling, who specialises in paediatrics.

Also promoted was Dr K V Ratnam, who came to public notice for his work on Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (Aids).
