Calvin Tan is the fifth and currently the youngest Singaporean to come out publicly as a person living with HIV. Diagnosed when he was 19 years of age, Tan has participated in various private events and talks, showing the public that HIV does not hinder him by any means through his insight and optimism. He believes that being honest and responsible for his own choices in life is the key to living on.
