Channel i was one of two television channels operated by SPH MediaWorks Ltd (报业传讯, bào yè chuán xùn), a free-to-air terrestrial television broadcaster in Singapore which merged with the city-state's long-established broadcasting company, Mediacorp, in 2004[1]. The other was Channel U.
Channel i was the second English television channel in Singapore. It ceased operations on 1 January 2005 due to the merger between SPH Mediaworks and Mediacorp. Its terrestrial frequency was re-used and replaced by Kids Central and Arts Central which in turn merged to form Okto 3 years later.
