Parkroyal Collection Pickering, Singapore (formerly PARKROYAL on Pickering) is a luxury hotel located in the Central Area, Singapore.[1] It is owned by Singaporean investment / property development company UOL Group.[2]
History[]
Parkroyal Collection Pickering, known at the time as PARKROYAL on Pickering, was opened in 2013.[3]
Architecture[]
The hotel was designed by WOHA, a Singapore-based architecture firm.[4] Designed to be a "hotel-in-a-garden", Parkroyal on Pickering includes green walls, water features and 15,000 square meters of tiered "sky gardens".[1][5][6]
The hotel's sky gardens are self-sustaining and are designed to consume minimal energy using solar cells, motion sensors, rainwater harvesting and reclaimed water.[1][5]
