Red Dot United (RDU) is a political party in Singapore founded on 26 May 2020.
History & political developments[]
On 26 May 2020, former Progress Singapore Party members Ravi Philemon and Michelle Lee, together with other former members of other political parties submitted an application to form the Red Dot United to the Registry of Societies.[1]
Although the average processing time for a registration application is two months,[1] Template:Abbr received approval on 15 June 2020, three weeks after application, in what appeared to be an expedited process.[2]
Template:Abbr had put forward candidates to contest in the 5-seat Jurong Group Representation Constituency for the 2020 Singaporean general election, which was called on 23 June 2020 with the dissolution of the 13th Parliament of Singapore.[2][3][4]
